About

My educational background is in English and Latin, with an M.Phil in Classics from the University of Cambridge, England (2005) and an M.A. in English from Ohio University (2004). During my second year at Ohio University, I was a graduate computer consultant for the English Department and was part of the team that redesigned the department website. Since then, I have been designing websites on a freelance basis. In spring of 2007, I was hired by a software development company in Anchorage, Alaska, where I work as a technical writer and website designer.

Outside work, I can often be found at Eaton Equestrian Centre, where I ride and teach beginner lessons. During high school I competed extensively in dressage, hunter, jumper, and equitation classes, winning Alaska state and zone awards in all four disciplines. After several years off to complete my graduate studies, I started riding again in spring of 2006, this time with a primary interest in dressage.
